A red Volkswagen Polo was overspeeding on this new Biodiversity flyover at Hyderabad. The driver lost control at the curve and hit the wall and flew off the flyover. The series of cctv camera footage sites the dramatic action. Unfortunately one pedestrian was killed. 

The problems noted are

1. The obviously overspeeding car. There is some doubt that he was racing with another car seen later in the clip. He was found 100kmph when the legal speed limit is 40kmph!

2. Flyover design was revamped after this to include taller sidewalls, speed breakers, rumble strips and prominent signs showing the speed limit.
