Splinterlands | Fire & Regret Battle Challenge

One of the more basic Rule Set is highlighted this week for the Share Your Battle Challenge which now also is called 'Battle Mage Secrest" in Splinterlands. This is the Fire & Regret Game Rule.

This ruleset is rather where all monsters get the return fire ability is pretty straightforward and similar to the ruleset where no Ranged monsters can be used. I guess the card that comes to mind that is very suited for this rule is the Runic Skyclaw of the Riftwatchers set at level 5 or higher. That one gets the Reflection shiled ability while you knind of know it' won't be countered by a -1 ranged damage. However, mostly I pick either full malee or full Magic decks hoping I won't get countered by the opponent which isn't that uncommon.

I did get countered on my full Magic Deck in this game rule where also 1 Gladius card was allowed to be used. I put my Furious Chicken in first position followed by the usually overpowered Quora Towershead and 2 magic Heal monsters with the Wood Nymph and the Goblin Psychic and at the end the 0 Mana Field to take some potential sneak damage.

Overall my deck simply wasn't any good as I counted way too much in ly Quora + Heal while I was extremely vulnerable to anti-magic, reduced health as I had no armorn and sneak damage which is exactly what my opponent played.
