Beeple (aka Mile Winkelmann) is a motion graphics artist and graphic designer from South Carolina. He’s recently been blowing up as a digital artist who is fully embracing selling his artwork as NFTs.

Beeple has sold 20 artworks netting a total of $3.5 million. Although his artwork is not for everyone, his work has garnered an avid following.

The biggest announcement for him as of late is the auction of his artwork by renowned auction house Christie’s in collaboration with MakersPlace. This is the first ever purely digital artwork to be auctioned by a major auction house. The artwork, called The First 5000 Days is comprised of every individual artwork from the first 5,000 Everydays.
