After Coinbase's announcement that it will support ETH 2.0 staking, comes the announcement of the Chinese company Binance (see article on Coinbase here).
The service will be launched from December 02, 2020 at 00:00 AM (UTC). ETH 2.0 participants will receive BETH (Binance ETH) with a ratio of 1 ETH = 1 BETH, which will be released in January 2021. In particular, staking rewards will be released daily in BETH.

Be careful though, the BETHs that are released to you tokenizes your share in the ETH 2.0 pool with a 1:1 ratio, so if you unfortunately lose your BETHs you won't be able to recover your ETHs anymore.
Binance will bear all the operational expenses of the validator, the risk of on-chain penalties and the daily distribution of rewards on users' spot accounts, depending on the user's BETH availability.
Surprisingly, the minimum deposits for staking are incredibly low, in fact the minimum amount is 0.0001 ETH.
The expected APY for staking is the one already analyzed here: it is between 5% and 20%.
Binance states that, in the future, BETHs could be made available for trading and can be freely traded for ETH (BETH will have the market price of ETH). Note, however, that the trading price is determined by the market and the spread on the transaction is at the user's expense.
As if that were not enough, Binance provides a double reward during the period from 02 December 2020 to 00:00 AM (UTC) and 16 December 2020 to 00:00 AM (UTC): users who have completed the KYC before the end of the trading period will be rewarded, in addition, in BNB in a manner equivalent to the average BNB/ETH value of BETH earned as a reward for staking during the trading period (up to a maximum of 5000 staked ETHs). If a user stakes more than 5000 ETHs, the BETH earned from the additional amount will not be considered for the calculation of the additional BNB reward.
After how long will I be able to withdraw my ETHs?
The lock-up period is determined according to the development of ETH 2.0, which can even exceed two years!
However, if BETH exchanges with other cryptocurrencies, including ETHs, are made possible, we will be free to make as many exchanges as we want.
