Initially working with Crypto.com and its payment card, Visa was authorizing users to pay by converting their cryptocurrencies into fiat currencies. The significant changement is that with this card you'll be able to pay with USDC, on the blockchain.
Is crypto.com the first of a long list ?
Visa is working with many other crypto partners such as BitPanda or Blockfi. We can wonder if they'll be working on the same way with those entities.
The Visa's CEO has already said that crypto are more and more important in our world and Visa has just made a little step in crypto at the moment. Visa may also make partnership with central banks if they launch digital currencies in the future.
