Even in choppy waters and an overall market that has pulled back considerably Harvest Finance continues to reap rewards for its faithful farmers. Most recently this has been seen in the APY return from the FARM pool surging back up to at first the high 30's and now hitting 40% in returns. The reason for this is simple enough and that is that farms are doing really pretty well right now as well as the amount of FARM staked dipping below $17 million USD.
When looking at the farms their APY yields have really maintained their levels for the last few weeks. As prices have run up and retreated the farms continue to harvest away and 30% of what a farm earns goes to the FARM rewards pool. In essence, what I am saying is volatility is huge for yield farmers and can really lead to pretty big gains! These gains paired with the price of FARM pulling back to roughly $100 a token means that the protocol is able to buy back much more at a much better price aka a better bang for your buck! These bought back tokens are distributed via the FARM/iFARM pool leading to amazing returns!
Vesting rewards have also finally become available!
Last year in the third and fourth quarters when new farms were announced many of them had a vesting period of 6 months for a part of their iFARM rewards! Well now that that time is up individuals are now able to claim their iFARM rewards! Something that I did not think of at first when I participated in one of these farms is something I should of is that with the yield being in iFARM you do not have to hurry and claim it to stake it! If gas fees are just too high right now it is perfectly fine to let it sit as it will continue to grow. Another thing that the team did was grouping together all of the farms so that if you participated in several farms with vesting iFARM you only have to claim it once saving you in gas fees!
While some people doubt or dismiss Harvest Finance's future it is hard to argue with the results that they continue to produce. They continue to generate new partnerships, expand on popular chains, and produce top-tier results! I have to say the developers deserve all the faith that the community has given them as their funds have continued to be safe while also just making everyone money!
