Today is an important day for me as my favorite DeFi platform Harvest Finance turned ONE TODAY! I do not hide the love I have for Harvest and the gains I have made from that platform are amazing and something I never imagined running into! Harvest has allowed me to learn so much more than I initially thought I would learn about crypto and DeFi overall!
An amazing feat is the way that Harvest launched itself and really what it has become. See Harvest launched without corporate structure or deadlines it truly was a project that was allowed to launch and not be tightly controlled by a select few. The initial founder or founders remain unknown and slowly but surely have released the entire project over to the Harvest Community. While this sounds fantastic it is something I thought would be a pipedream but guess what it worked!
At its core the people of this project care about its long term viability and making sure it lasts. The day to day performance does not matter near as much as this project being around in 5-10 years! These people care about long-term growth which is a key thing to build true life changing wealth! This amazing philosophy shows how great people can still be in a ever toxic world.
The Dev team in-charge continues to make sure that more and more partnerships are created and that these partnerships are lasting and have a positive impact on the current and future viability of the platform! To me its crazy to think back when I first started to use the platform months ago and how it had a couple dozen Ethereum farms and now its spans three blockchains! Even with the farms that have been moved to inactive the project still has over 100 active farms that continue to deliver for the farms that participate!
I cannot wait to see what the next year brings as I am sure it will lead to many more farms on Polygon (MATIC) and probably another blockchain or two! Harvest continues to have a bright and shining future as the community behind it cares and strives for it to have long term viability! It is so unique in its community, voting structure, and just how ideas sprout and grow into legitimate farms! Maybe the best part of this is that FARM is a tipping token so each of you who are taking part in Publish0x either writing or reading are earning FARM!
