Harvest and NFT's... Are Harvest's NFT's a Good Investment?

Before I continue I first would like to point out I am not a financial advisor and my biggest rule I have made for myself over the years is to never invest money I cannot afford to lose. That being said on Twitter today Harvest Finance's Official account made an interesting tweet that I feel should be further explored.

A little over a week ago Harvest first announced that those who owned Harvest themed NFTs from there one year anniversary would be put into a pool for profit sharing and I covered it in an earlier you. Well today they announced that over $8000 had been distributed to those who owned the NFT's! Not bad for people who bought NFTs without the promise or expectation that they get a reward of this kind!

Today they announced that exciting NFT + Harvest activities were right around the corner. This made me wonder what could it be that Harvest does further with their NFTs!?!? What possible perks or benefits would holders be able to receive from Harvest beside something basic like further ETH profit sharing. I wanted to try and think beyond the easy to state ideas and I came up with a few and would love to hear yalls input below!

One of the quickest things to my mind, as it has been a growing trend, was to have NFT staking where you would deposit you Harvest NFT into a pool for benefits. I could see this being a place where a holder could receive even more iFARM/FARM then you would receive in the profit share pool. It could even sure as a booster like what is on the Binance Smart Chain with ampliFARM. Another idea is that within this pool you get an assortment of benefits like iFARM/FARM and then ETH or another farm emission like DAI or USDC! Something extra to boost your earnings overall!

At the same time Harvest could continue with what they are doing and just do monthly ETH distributions or more likely iFARM/FARM distributions! This would separate the NFT's from the farms and would give them a premium value. After all it does appear that Harvest is wanting to move forward with the NFTs having a premium or a added value benefit then just farm participation. Due to the cost of the NFTs and more importantly the gas fees associated with them they have to reward holders pretty well so encourage the premium value of the program!

There are so many other ideas that come to mind like different more exclusive pools that have better returns then the standard pools they offer or a private discord among other things. NFTs really have created a whole new world for DeFi to expand into and we are now currently seeing this very expansion happen! I look forward and cannot wait to hear what they have in store for these NFTs since it all appears to be that they are heading for further utilization of them!
