Could Brave Cut BAT Rewards?

Could Brave Cut BAT Rewards?

By Cje95 | Chronic Illness and Crypto | 19 Mar 2021

BAT has been one of the top gainers the last week or so with the price all the way up to $1.25 at one point! While Brave Browser users should rejoice with this growth and it’s maintained value it begs the question could it be too good.

When Brave initially cut its BAT rewards it had to deal with the amount of ad revenue that was being generated. This time around though the token might have outpaced the revenue. This quick and explosive growth has benefited many many Brave users and BAT hodlers it could lead to another cut.

This cut would not be a huge detriment though as the amount of BAT distributed is suppose to fluctuate with the amount of Ad revenue and the price of the BAT token. It will be interesting to see how people will react though. It is possible people could panic sell not understanding what is going on but if they do cut the payments it’s not because the browser is struggling it’s because the token is finally finding more acceptance!

Always remember though to do your own research! This is a hypothetical based on the history of the Brave team! I am not a financial advisor!
