Today I upgraded my PC's Brave Browser so that I could move my iOS BAT to my PC since they have finally enabled that feature! While it was nice to finally have my BAT in a place where I could use it. At first, the transaction went along smoothly.... well it took about 5 minutes or more for the transaction to occur before it appeared on my PC. After about half an hour through an issue popped up that really killed the mood of having access to all this new BAT. My pending rewards zeroed themselves..... while not entirely unheard of to happen to people it was the first time I have had this issue.
Based on what happened and the events that preceded it seems that once you do the one-time iOS transfer the system does not know how to "handle" the situation. This is not the date the system is built to handle and thus the system just seemed to rest. What is an issue though is that the "clock" or pending rewards indicator does not restart and stays zeroed out. I have had 5+ more ads pop up yet none of them have moved my BAT rewards indicator off of 0.000. If one good thing has come of this it is that the number of ads I have seen does continue to increase as they should. It just does not translate into the BAT as you would expect. I and several others have commented on the issue on the Brave Community forum so hopefully, they issue a patch soon to fix this.
