The Pearls of Waste

The pearls of waste I wore.
Leave in me a feeling that is sore.
Of a pain I cannot tell.
For if I did I'd be damned to hell.

The pearls of waste that I see.
Are here to stay eternally.
Throw them away I sure cannot.
Which would make my skin surely rot.

The pearls of waste pains me so.
And they are hard to let go.
Pearls fashioned to my chest.
Creating a scarred tattoo underneath my vest.

The pearls of waste scare me much.
And it uses me as a crutch.
Why does it make me say such horrid things?
I so wish to hush.
I think I may be dying.
For I have said too much.
