Whales, bots, China FUD, exchange hacks, pump and dump...You name it! This is the most common terminology you need to know about before investing in any of those shiny digital coins. Well, some are not so shiny and it’s a material for another article.
This market is like an uncharted continent on a new planet. There are plenty of monsters (really weird ones) lurking, either to steal your funds or to trap you in some kind of scam (and again, to steal your funds). It’s like, everyone is out to get you. But it doesn’t have to be this scary. In fact, you will feel comfortable and safe. The only thing you have to do is to READ and LEARN about the technology and tokens you’re interested in. Do your own research! Instead of a Netflix marathon, take your time and start exploring. Arm yourself with knowledge! Blockchain is a groundbreaking technology and you can’t become an expert in just a couple of hours. There are already many reputable articles about cryptocurrencies and blockchain and we won’t repeat ourselves. Through this medium we need to gain each other’s trust and avoid those nasty mutants mentioned above...

So, what do you want? Bitcoin? Ether? Doge? Want to become a millionaire in two days? Want to send a large sum of money to your uncle in Ethiopia? The truth is, you need to set yourself a goal, no unrealistic stuff (gief Lambos!!!1), just like in every aspect of your life. You want a whole Bitcoin? Great! Invest in it, but always ask yourself...Do I need this money for bills, food, house etc.?
Go with money you are willing to lose, maybe get yourself 50€ worth of BTC and send a donation to somebody in Venezuela*. See how it feels. Get a small portion of Ether and start lending it through DeFi** tools. These are, by no means, terrorist or shady things that some politicians like to mention.
Blockchain is a technology that can change the ways we talk about banking and living in general. It is still in an experimental phase so that’s why it’s both risky and rewarding.
We don’t know where it is going but hey, let’s find out :)
Leave your comments below, let’s test those chains to the bone :)
Thank you and see you soon!
