The first burger to be put to scrutiny is one of the longest standing burgers in Toronto. It also may be one of the more expensive burgers I have ever eaten. Listed on the menu at $40 CAD. That's a big ticket burger. To be fair, the price includes fries or salad. Unfortunately, not ordering a side does not reduce the price.
Bymark is in the heart of Toronto's financial district and owned by one of Canada's premiere chefs Mark McEwen. A stones throw from Union Station and blocks away from The Rogers Center. Located in the bottom floor of 66 Wellington Street west.

In 2021 this burger ranks 12th on Toronto Life's list of 25 best burgers in the city. Our waiter mentioned that it has won multiple award and after eating I believe him.

For the inaugural burger it was only me and friend. Admittedly this is a small sample size so if I have any readers that want to add a data point let me know and I will send you a score sheet.
The Bymark Burger is excellent. It is a fancy burger for a fancy crowd. It did noting poorly. The only thing that was dragging down its CBI score was the price tag.
The first data point in the Consumer Burger Index is the Bymark Burger with a +21.125.
It was an amazing burger but the price tag makes it low value.

CBI as of 2023-11-16.
