One of the newest additions to Toronto's Bay Street food scene brought to you by the lovely folks at the Glowbal Group of restaurants. An old school financial district steak house designed to put dents in expense accounts. Menu items like a Sashimi platter for the almost nice price of $68, Lobster Vongule for $55, and $32 Wagyu fried rice.
Of course we are looking at their burger the oddly titled Smash Burger.

This is a hell of a burger. Two thick patties, provolone a sesame seed brioche bun (toasted), spicy ketchup on the bottom bun, thousand island dressing on the top, iceberg lettuce, tomato, and an unlisted spicy pickle. I previously mention how this burger is oddly named, that's because it is not a smash burger at all. These are two thick steak house patties, maybe they patted them flatter, but these are Thick.

The Smash Burger comes with parmesan fries and a wonderful truffle aioli for the Bay Street price of $26.

Black and Blue's Smash Burger scored a CBI score of 27.45. A hefty burger with some weak points, but the high price point is hard to justify if you aren't paying with a company card.
