I love this, but there's an inevitable concern and a question waiting to be asked

I've been using Meta Ray-Bans for a year or so.

They're excellent. Especially if you're a content creator, because it means you can easily film stuff with your hands free, and you don't look like a fool with a GoPro glued to your forehead.

But there's an inevitable question are going to be asking, and it's about privacy.

The thing is, in theory, Ray-Ban Meta glasses produce a flash-like light when you take a picture, and the light stays on if you're filming but, realistically, no one notices.

In several countries, it is technically illegal to film people without consent, especially people under 18, in public.

Obviously, this law is hardly ever enforced because we all have smartphones and it would be realistically impossible to enforce, but still.

Meta Ray-Bans are an amazing product, but I have a feeling that, if and when they become mainstream, the same thing that always happens will happen.

Some countries will regulate it, others will ban it.
