Grok is more useful when you're bossy

I just wrote a short article about the upcoming Apple Fold and I needed a create a mockup image to go with it.

So I asked Grok.

I said, "can you design an iPhone Fold based on predictions?"

Grok thought I was asking for info, which, fair enough, I should've worded it better.

So I said, "I meant an image."

It politely replied, in way too many words, and asked to confirm, in way way way too many words, if I actually wanted a mockup image.

I said yes.

It created two images that were so bad it was funny.

So I said, "let's do this, draw an image of a Samsung Galaxy Fold but give it Apple iPhone's Dynamic Island".

The next two images were exactly the same, except the picture on the left was now on the right and viceversa.

I was about to give up but then I thought about trying one last time, so I simply said "draw an image of iPhone Fold".

And I ended up with an image that was not great but usable.

Ah. I also asked it to draw an image of itself.

This is what it came up with.
