3 Tips I personally would recommend as I forgot to or didn't know about them until after I upgraded the card. Don't want people going through what I did xd.
How to upgrade your card tier: Crypto.com app -> Accounts -> Crypto Wallet -> Scroll down to "Upgrade"
1. Buy the CRO necessary to upgrade your card on Crypto.com exchange if its about $5000 worth or more.
First of all, do NOT upgrade with your debit or credit card. There is a fee which is approximately $160 AUD, you can avoid this by buying the CRO directly in the app or Crypto.com exchange. I personally bought the CRO on the app and suffered from the spread. To prevent the spread, you can buy the CRO via the Crypto.com exchange and transfer them to the Crypto.com app and upgrade. The two are connected so should be easy to transfer. The Crypto.com exchange is NOT available to people in the US as far as I am aware.
2. Make sure to "Check in" in your missions tab in the Crypto.com app to get them EZ diamonds. (This is for if you bought on the Crypto.com app)
I forgot to do this, and it hurts my soul every time I think about it. If you don't know, you can get diamonds for completing missions, which can then be used to open these mystery boxes (25 diamonds) which reward you CRO. There are 3 tiers of boxes as far as I know, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze gets you around 0.3 CRO, Silver around 1.2 CRO and Gold around 5 CRO. The amount differs every time, I've seen people get 7.6 CRO with the Gold box.
Anyways, you have to first "Check In' to your daily missions to unlock your other missions. If you do not do this, buying Crypto and completing what ever is specified will NOT count. You can get 60 diamonds for buying over $500 USD in Crypto.com, which is 2 mystery boxes. It isn't much but it feels bad to miss out.
3. Don't hesitate when buying in at a very good price (this ones really more personal).
This ones more personal, and honestly it is pretty much impossible to time the market and all that but CRO dipped to $0.5 AUD and hesitated to buy in until $0.6 AUD. Yes it could've dipped more or maybe if I hadn't hesitated I could've bought in at $0.7 or $0.8 AUD when it was on its way down. I guess its best to just pick a price and stick with it since its too hard to time the bottom.
