Uphold is an exchange partnered with Brave Browser, and is essentially the default platform for Brave's Basic Attention Token (BAT). So, lets talk about why Uphold is a really good exchange.

1. Its easy to use

Uphold's UI, especially their mobile app's UI, is just great! Just looking at it makes me want to use their exchange. 

2. It has 0 fees

Uphold has no fees for anything whatsoever. This is great for someone like me, who is always exchanging cryptocurrencies the moment anything goes up or down.

3. Transparency and Security

Uphold is very transparent about it's doings. Uphold states on their website that:

"Security is in our DNA. We constantly obsess about it. Our number one priority is to protect you, your money and your information."

They seem to be actively working on technology advancements for security. 

They also said this:

"Anyone, at any time, can confirm our reserve and ensure that his or her funds are safe."

I actually checked the reserve, and I did actually see the amount of money Uphold holds.

And, those are the main reasons why Uphold is a very good exchange. There is, though, a very big con. And that is, you need to verify your identity with an ID.

Many people, including me, don't feel comfortable sharing an image of that, and that is why many people don't use it.

And that's a fair reason to not use it. But, if you do feel comfortable with that, and you'd like to take the risk of giving that to them, I really recommend it.
