Hello there people, all over the world, today I will write about another interesting and futuristic topic which is : -
What comes after Blockchain Technology?

Here goes my list of What comes after Blockchain Technology : -
1- Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) : -
A data structure that overcomes some of the scalability and speed limitations of traditional blockchains by allowing parallel transactions.
Example : - IOTA’s Tangle is a DAG-based protocol designed for the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling fast, feeless transactions and efficient data transfers.
2- Holochain : -
A framework for building decentralized applications where each participant maintains their own chain, increasing scalability and reducing the need for consensus mechanisms.
Example : - Holochain allows for the creation of scalable, agent-centric distributed applications, supporting complex, peer-to-peer interactions without relying on global consensus.
3- Hashgraph : -
A consensus algorithm that offers high throughput, fairness, and security by using a gossip protocol and virtual voting.
Example : - Hedera Hashgraph claims to provide a more efficient and faster alternative to blockchain, suitable for applications requiring high transaction speeds and robust security.
4- Quantum-Resistant Ledgers : -
Cryptographic systems designed to be secure against the potential threats posed by quantum computing, which could break current blockchain encryption.
Example : - Projects like QRL (Quantum Resistant Ledger) are developing quantum-resistant blockchains using advanced cryptographic algorithms to safeguard data against future quantum attacks.
5- Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) : -
Digital versions of national currencies issued and regulated by central banks, leveraging blockchain or alternative ledger technologies for secure and efficient transactions.
Example : - India's Digital Rupee, China’s Digital Yuan and many more countries are investing in CBDC initiative aiming to modernize the financial system, providing a state-controlled digital currency for widespread use.
6- Smart Contract Evolution (AI-Enhanced Smart Contracts) : -
The integration of artificial intelligence with smart contracts to create more sophisticated, self-executing agreements capable of complex decision-making and adaptability. This is dangerous now because AI is still evolving.
Example : - AI-enhanced smart contracts could autonomously adjust terms and conditions based on real-time data and analytics, making them more flexible and responsive to changing circumstances.
