The mind, our greatest commodity (part2)

The mind, our greatest commodity (part2)

We create what we believe...

Our mind or consciousness is capable of producing ideas with the potency to change the very fabric of reality itself. We are the creators of our own destiny but what makes us human also seems so far removed from the rest of nature that one might say that we are not on the right path, but I disagree. We can safely say that it is in our nature to be unnatural. Why do I think like that?

Were do we fit in?

If we take a look at live  on this planet we can all agree that every species has its place in this great cycle of life. Birds build nests, leafcutter ants cut leaves and beavers build dams. Remove one part of an eco-system and it becomes unstable. Looking at the world like that, one can't help but wonder where we humans with our destructive tendencies fit in. How come we destroy parts of this delicate system while being totally dependent on it?

Everything falls into place...

Perhaps all the damage we cause to the environment is an inevitable consequence of our nature as the human species. All the technology and innovation we have today wouldn't have been possible if we didn't experiment with lesser and cruder forms in the past. In such a scenario the end justifies the means. Come to think of it, that makes much more sense now. If we humans manage to become a planetary civilisation at the end of this century just like one in the famous kardashev scale we'll be able to reverse all the damage done by us in the past.

The human potential..

Think of all the positive things we could accomplish if more minds work together to manifest great ideas. The day where we'll all be connected to each other directly by means of a brain computer interface isn't to far away from us. That's why it's very important to prepare for this union of minds. There's no need for petty selfish endeavors when all of us  could become masters of the universe.
