Richard Teng, the Binance CEO speaks out about the recent footage of Tigran Gambaryan their employee who is jailed in Nigeria accused of tax evasion and money laundering, calling it 'inhumane and the government should release him to get proper medical assistance'.

While the gesture is cool and want to express his sincere feelings about the whole situation, for me, it feels like the Binance crew isn't doing that much to help release Tigran. Gambaryan is arrested due to the exchange issue in Nigeria and he was sent there by the company to solve an issue they long had knowledge but nothing was done to solve it before escalated.

All the accusations Tigran Gambaryan is facing are directed to Binance but because he was the one representing the exchange in the Nigerian soil at that moment is paying the price. Binance legal team should try to be more proactive and deal direct with the government and the entities who in first place arrested Tigran. They should settle this down and we all know what the government want here, money.

Why not give to them and release this dude that is paying for Binance wrongdoing in Nigeria? Is crazy but also real that Nigeria as government can't kidnap someone and demand that his employer pay what “supposedly” owes to them or the one they found working for them will pay, but, we already saw that happening and still happening with Tigran. So, why not seat down and solve this as Men?

No employee should be arrested and pay for the crimes that he as a person didn't commit, this is wrong. Binance should do more here and stop using the mob to have sympathy for them. Tigran should return home safely and if he doesn't go back, in the months to come and at the situation we saw in the video he will likely die in jail. We should stop putting beauty on this as the whole situation is ugly and must end soon to Tigran return home.

I believe the Binance staff maybe afraid to negotiate in Nigeria soil after all this drama then should choose a place, seat with the Nigeria government and put an end to this. We know that they want money so give it to them. How much profit Binance made just for operating in Nigeria? Billions, so why not paying some to release that man who his family is suffering everyday for a crime he personal didn't commit? Don't let your mind stop your actions. Remember:
