We have been hard at work on how to make BlockBurn better and we will be unveiling all the plans and developments done behind the scene. Today, we bring you three major announcements that will reposition and change the course of the project from where it is right now to something more promising.
Firstly, we are announcing the launch of our new website which would be unveiled today. This website will not only show the commitment but also the dedication of BlockBurn team to the next course of action we will undergo in the coming days. This website contains an updated roadmap and whitepaper.
Blockburn being a community oriented project never held any public or private sale and as such all project development have been financed by the team. With the upcoming product developments, more funds will be required to finance it and it is on this premise that we are announcing a public token sale (IEO).
BlockBurn’s IEO is scheduled to hold on ChainX Exchange and it will commence on the 17th of February and would span for 3 weeks and a hardcap of $1,200,000.
Exchange listings have been secured on ChainX Exchange, Hotbit, Cointiger, Lbank Exchange and a SURPRISE LISTING. Trading of tokens will resume on all previously listed exchanges.
In line with the plans we have for the future which includes in-game rewards and staking rewards; we would like to reserve some tokens to reward the community for their activities in our project. With this in view, we would be exiting from the deflationary token model and swapping to a fixed supply token.
The BlockBurn new token contract will have a total supply of 2 billion $BURN tokens. All holders of $BURN tokens will be given an opportunity to swap their tokens on a 1:100 ratio. This means that for every $BURN token you have, you would receive 100 $BURN tokens.
NOTE- All trading activities would be halted for a short while due to the IEO and token swap. Trading resumes immediately after the conclusion.
