It happens... you take a photo of something or someone, edit a bit the thing and then you stare at it with your brain empty trying to figure it out what to say.
Maybe poetry will work with this one...
"In dreams I saw you wrapped in the mist of the night.
Dancing butterflies announced the coming of a unrequited love
and my agony yelled "save me" while holding my forgotten hope."
But you don't feel like keep writing poetry... What about explaining about the whole scene? "Eh... this is a flower pic"... that's it! You're not en expert in flowers, you don't even have a clue of how this flowers are called!
What about a short story?...
"Magdalene was sure her beloved brother would come from war. He promised her and he never broke a promise before. The things in town were very hostile, youngsters were stealing and destroying everything in their path. There were no one to stop them cause all the strong men were fighting at the war"...
Nope, this type of stories are not your thing! You write mostly about scifi, fantasy, thriller or funny stuff and the whole time you were trying to make the flowers aliens or mutants and that will end in a very crappy story.
What about writing about random stuff?... Eh, hello! what do you think I've been doing all this time?! The entire post is about me not knowing what to write... that's random!
And this is how you write a post when you have no idea what to say! The only way to beat writer's block is to keep writing nonsense until your brain finally starts to cooperate with you. Sometimes you need to get out of your comfort zone to get things done and when that happens just go with the flow!
