I'm writing this from the new AirBnB, I left the old one a few days ago but never made it back because I ended up in the hospital.
I'm not sure what happened. I blacked out and no one saw anything. Next thing I know I woke up on the tarmac. Covered in blood. Severe damage to my face.
Amazingly, nothing else was broken. Not even my glasses, which were indeed on my face, or my phone, which was in my pocket.
It was shocking at first, then reality settled in. Yes, it happened. Yes, it happened to me. Yes, recovery will take long.
The first few days I didn't really do much with my phone, mostly because keeping it charged at the hospital was so difficult.
Now I got home and finally was able to check crypto, as you do, and it turns out Ripple sort of kinda won round one of the SEC lawsuit.
I'm still in a foreign country. This isn't the country I wasn't born and grew up in, and it isn't even the country I've been living in for two years.
Treatment was less expensive than it would have been in country B, but possibly more than it would've been in my homeland, because of universal healthcare.
But that doesn't matter now. It is what it is. We get what we get.
Now I'm going back to bed, maybe read some more stuff about the SEC lawsuit.
Any cheer-me-up comments are appreciated. Thank you
