I've received a lot of 'free' money in crypto.
Sometimes, I've had to do very little to get it, and sometimes, I've had to complete boring and repetitive tasks, for example with faucets. Sometimes, it's just staking and stuff, which some people might argue isn't free money.
In the olden days, I remember those days, there were BTC faucets that tipped you the equivalent of dollars, or sometimes tens of dollars, every day.
That's no longer a thing, but I use a faucet every day, and I make a few bucks from that every month.
Then there's learn-to-earn quests on Coinbase, Sweat Wallet and Revolut and so on. That's hit and miss, but I've made enough to buy a few nice meals with that over the years.
Then there's airdrops. The Solana Seeker and Bonk airdrops alone made me enough to buy a few nights at a very, very, very nice hotel in a nice part of the world.
Some people argue none of that is worth your time anyway which, fair enough, it's one way to look at it.
But, for me, free money is free money.
