DMC, as in DeLorean Motor Company, brought back the new DMC-12 (even though they call it Alpha5), a homage to the original car used in the Back to the Future trilogy, in electric form.

It looks great, and you can order one.

But there's good news, bad news, and silly news.

The good news is the car exists, it's not vapourware.

There are working prototypes in existence.

The bad news is the car exists, but it's already been delayed.

Production was supposed to commence in 2024 year but it didn't happen.

The silly news is you can only buy with crypto.

To reserve a spot, buyers must buy a slot that costs $2,500 (payable in USDC) and is represented by an NFT in the Slush wallet, on Sui network.

That's just dumb.
