Design software company Figma, which is a relatively sizable company, has secretly been buying Bitcoin.
Figma filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this month to go public on the New York Stock Exchange, which of course means they had to disclose absolutely everything.
As it turns out, Figma (FIG) invested $55 million into the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) in March 2024, and its value stands at around $70 million more or less.
Figma also holds $30 million in USDC, but it intends to use that $30 million to buy more BTC.
Interesting, Figma was minutes away from being bought off by Adobe, but the deal was knocked back by the European Commission and the Uk Competition and Markets Authority for two reasons.
First, the Authority claimed the deal ($20 billion) was overvalued and second, they feared Adobe would end up creating a monopoly.
