Metaplanet, a Japanese investment firm, has become the ninth-largest corporate Bitcoin holder globally.
The company now holds 8,888 BTC, having just bought an additional a $117.9 million purchase of 1,088 BTC at $108,400 per coin.
Aside from Strategy, in a class of its own, you've got Marathon Digital, Block.one, Tether, Hut 8, Galaxy Digital and Riot Platforms.
It'll be interesting to see what's going to happen in the next five years, because BTC clearly is on the rise, and institutional investors - from huge corporations to national governments - are jumping on the bandwagon.
The only problem I see is centralisation.
BTC was created to fix this problem, but it's clearly becoming centralised.
I don't know about you, but even the fact that Strategy holds so much of the total supply doesn't make too comfortable.
Even though I know that Strategy is a good actor.
