My kids often refer to me as a dinosaur because I don't know Billie Eilish, the "slangish" words they use or why they buy and wear horrible clothes which I really cannot digest looking at....
But I do not really feel like I am in extinction mode. At the age of 52 I have learned and am learning many things and one of them is crypto world.
Cryptos are here to stay for sure and who remains behind will regret it. It is, I believe, our kids future.
Already some famous and rich people did have to surrender at the evidence and not only , their companies are now hiring wildly engineers, mathematicians and cryptographers in order not to miss the train.
One for all.... chairman Jamie Dimon was savage against Bitcoin ( he called it a fraud, remember?) back in 2017 and now what ? JPMorgan Chase is deep into cryptos and has also created the JPM coin !!!!!! Lucky for him he will not be remembered as the fool who missed the train.
But we do have dinosaurs around still.... On top of all the famous Warren Buffett recently declared again (after calling Bitcoin a rat poison squared) that he will never ever own Bitcoin, an asset that creates nothing. Maybe I will sound a little desecrating about one of the most powerful and richest men around the globe but hey Mr. Buffett , you are for sure a genius in investing in old economy but you should really come out of your egg ..... you missed a lot of winning trains in the tech industry already and your Berkshire fund has managed not to suffer too much recently only because of a big stake in Apple and Amazon that you took recently because all the rest suffered (oil , banks , trains ,etc.).
Mr Buffett you indeed did recognise finally the mistake but you missed the future. Ok, you said you do not invest in companies you doesn't understand
but finally with good advise from your staff you did get into tech.
You are doing it again... Dinosaurs tend not to be open minded... But please do not insult something you don't understand, just ignore it tks.....
Sorry Warren, I love you :-)
