The hardest climb on the Hive blockchain

By Behiver | behiver | 4 Apr 2024

The hardest climb is not Denali, K2 or Everest. The hardest climb is the mental climb, the internal struggle that we all feel in our regular lives. It lies deep within ourselves and when unbalanced it affects us in every corner of our lives. One that I feel that is affected by a while in my case is the social presence on the Hive blockchain and dapps from here and the consistency amongst them. And I think that in order to break through, I need to show up every day, especially when the headwinds are strong and uncertainty lies in the crypto space at every bend.

Humans social psychology

We all can see a migration-in when crypto burst and gains on Hive are even stratospheric, while we see migration-out when the market deflates and earnings lose up a zero or more. While there are loyal users which show up every day, a big portion of the user base falls mentally and gives up when others are truly capitalizing and accumulating for next cycle. And after that regrets take over and demoralize us.

Consistency above all

Living a life of climbing demands our best mental. It requires routine, resourcefulness and the courage and belief to continue when others give up. It calls for a relentless drive to push forward past every demoralizing event and decline. It means you prove consistency all the way on a path of growth and evolution.

Communities - Peak performers don't climb alone

While some of us might be solitaire human beings, I believe that the climb is much easier when others prove themselves with us. This way we all can pull each other while sharing the same vision. We are social human beings and the Hive blockchain is the right and true web3 social media space where we can truly grow alongside amazing communities. Grow, develop, build, evolve... these never stop and we find ourselves here in the right ecosystem to do that. I am sure that most of us are part of amazing communities and that we have found within support and even mentors to show us the way.

In the end while I have moments of power like this one when I was hungry for writing and 100% decisive to be more consistent on the Hive blockchain, I must confess that I have also moments when I lose myself and I feel that the time stands still. In those moments I simply cannot do anything... But if I can to put in place a daily routine, I might make it even in dark times. How about you?
