I was lead singer and songwriter for the Blue note Project for about 4 years...2008-2012.  I loved working and rehearsing with the band which we did once a week or so. We would start a re-hear-soul with a warm up improvisational jam... the jam might be worked into a song if we liked what we were creating... The you tube track below is one of the last we did before our bass player Julian passed on.  He was a great guy and we both liked the ideas and sound of this particular improv jam... so.. I put it together with some photo's from gigs and rehearsals as a tribute to my buddy Julian... hope you like it...
