For Who I could be - Poem

By Gobikilla | bambeesh | 11 Jun 2021

A spark

Sought after

In the dark

As I grow old faster

Elation lost

Behind all trials

Finding myself alone

Amidst this silent night

I run and run

But I don't look at the fleeting joy

Why do I evade it?

But not anymore

I kiss the winged butterfly

As the sun sets

I feel this deep restive silence

And I must embrace it

I love myself

For who I am

And not for

Who I could be
