Another technic i would like to improve my skill in is the method of long exposure photography.
The results of these photos are very striking, almost like magic!
I had the opportunity to get my hands on a Hasselblad and also get a studio to set up the picture.
In the process of making the photo i first had to place the glasses on a mirror to get the reflection.
Then i got a black background with a flash behind it, in order to get that bright silhouette.
I then turned all the lights of and set up the camera to a long exposure.
Right after the flash had gone of i sneaked behind the glassware, so i could create the light trails.
I used a small maglight with the top removed so only the diode was exposed. And the result of that is this picture!
Here i did some classic steel wool photography!
Here i used a tripod with a timer set on it so i would have time to place myself in the set focal point and light the wool and spin it. I stood in a tunnel, so the sparks would form a frame around it. And all together it kinda looks like a portal.

Here is my first successful shot of a thunderstorm, luckily their where no rain and i could stand at a safe distance.
All i did was basically, set the camera on a long shutter speed and point it to a point where you hope the lighting would strike. One more thing you need to take into consideration is light pollution. If there is to much of it in the area it will wash out the picture. So optimally find a place far from any light source.
