Dcity: What your reason for buying Homeless and Immigrants?

Since I have nice popularity of 100+ for my city , so I keep mining Homeless and Immigrants every other day and I promptly check the market price and put them in sale.

But recently , I am putting my sale order for Homeless and Immigrants , I compared their price with Worker and Workers (SIM only).

To my surprise , I saw following:

Did you noticed in current market, Worker are cheaper than Homeless.

Might you guys not seeing much discount in Workers, because Yesterday I purchased lot of workers around 90 SIM, putting on resale for some profit.

Advantage of Worker/Workers

As far population is concerned , Worker=Homeless=1 population but Homeless give you -1 popularity.
and for Workers=Immigrants=2 population but Immigrants give you -2 popularity.

High popularity helps you in getting popularity bonus and help you to attract more Homeless and Immigrants.

But, Why not Basic Home.

At current prices , Basic Home is cheapest option to increase population and it give +1 income too. Currently Basic Home is available for 176 SIM, that give you 4 population and 1 SIM income daily. So if you need large population, you should go for Basic Home.

On my further Analysis , I found Basic Home are even cheaper than Apartments too for same population growth and they are most cheap method currently to increase population.
