There was no trace of yesterday's crowds in the park today, Monday, you know. I decided to cycle around the Planetarium.

Po wczorajszych tłumach w parku dzisiaj już nie było śladu, poniedziałek, wiadomo. Postanowiłem pokręcić się na rowerze w okolicach Planetarium.

My attention was drawn to an interesting structure that I hadn't noticed before, or maybe it just wasn't there before.

Moją uwagę zwróciła ciekawa konstrukcja, na którą wcześniej nie zwróciłem uwagi, a może jej po prostu wcześniej tam nie było.

This structure consists of four halves of a sphere placed on supports. In each of these hemispheres, holes are drilled corresponding to the arrangement of stars in the sky in particular seasons. Just go under the dome and look up. The light entering through holes of different diameter imitates the arrangement of stars in the sky on the first day of spring, summer, autumn and winter, respectively. Interesting idea.

Budowla ta to cztery połówki kuli umieszczone na wspornikach. W każdej z tych półkuli wywiercone są otwory odpowiadające układowi gwiazd na niebie w poszczególnych porach roku. Wystarczy wejść pod kopułę, i spojrzeć w górę. Światło wpadające przez otwory różnej średnicy imituje układ gwiazd na niebie odpowiednio pierwszego dnia wiosny, lata, jesieni i zimy. Ciekawy pomysł.

After quite intensive driving along the park's forest tracks, it was time to rest by a small pond near the Planetarium. Pretty nice Monday.

Po dość intensywnej jeździe po parkowych leśnych duktach, przyszedł czas na odpoczynek nad małym stawikiem koło Planetarium. Całkiem miły poniedziałek.
