I have received news that the Kamienny Kasztel restaurant in Park Śląski, which burned down many years ago, will have a new owner and will undergo thorough reconstruction and renovation. This is nice news, because I have many nice memories of this place from my student days. It's good that someone took care of it.
Dotarły do mnie wiadomości, że restauracja Kamienny Kasztel w Parku Śląskim, która spłonęła wiele lat temu będzie miała nowego właściciela i przejdzie gruntowną odbudowę i remont. To miła informacja, bo mam z tym miejscem bardzo wiele miłych wspomnień jeszcze z czasów studenckich. Dobrze że ktoś się tym zaopiekował.
It's very nice in the park, despite the lack of sun. The vegetation felt spring in full swing. Nothing will change this. And according to weather forecasts, a slight break in the weather is expected at the end of March, when temperatures will drop to 7-8 degrees during the day, but there will be no frosts.
W parku, mimo braku słońca bardzo miło. Roślinność poczuła wiosnę na całego. Tego już nic nie zmieni. I jak zapowiadają synoptyce, lekkie załamanie pogody ma nastąpić pod koniec marca, wtedy temperatury spadną do 7-8 stopni w ciągu dnia, lecz nie będzie przymrozków.
The birds are doing quite well, they all showed up for feeding and received a portion of nuts. When it comes to feeding birds in spring, there are two schools of thought. One is for and the other is against supplementary feeding. I'm in the middle because I provide them with treats in quantities that allow them to enjoy them rather than gorge themselves on them, and I think that's a healthy approach.
Ptaszki mają się całkiem dobrze, wszystkie stawiły się na karmienie i otrzymały porcję orzechów. Jeśli chodzi o dokarmianie ptaków na wiosnę to są dwie szkoły. Jedna jest za, druga przeciw dokarmianiu. Ja jestem po środku, ponieważ dostarczam im smakołyków, w ilościach, które pozwalają im się nimi nacieszyć a nie objeść i myślę, że to zdrowe podejście.
