Palawan w kilku ciekawych ujęciach. Port Barton i El Nido

Today, some interesting shots from my trip around the Philippines, specifically the island of Palawan. One of them is even funny, and one was taken from a drone.

Dzisiaj kilka ciekawych ujęć z mojej podróży po Filipinach, a dokładnie po wyspie Palawan. Jedno z nich jest nawet śmieszne, a jedno zrobione z drona.

In the town of Port Barton on the island of Palawan, the tides are quite predictable. Low tide usually occurs in the late afternoon, revealing large expanses of sand. The place is quite humid and warm, so stray dogs lie there. I decided to take a few photos of them from a bird's eye view using my old Mavic Air 1 drone.

The Air Swiss plane that I had the opportunity to fly from El Nido to Manila is an older type of propeller plane. It has its advantages: it is intimate and the views it offers during the flight are unforgettable. As it is a propeller plane, it flies below the clouds and the views are beautiful. His landing on the island is also noteworthy because he does it very low above the water.

Samolot linii Air Swiss, który miałem okazje lecieć z El Nido do Manili, to starszy typ samolotu śmigłowego. Ma on swoje zalety, jest kameralny, a widoki jakie oferuje podczas lotu są niezapomniane. Jako, że to samolot śmigłowy, leci poniżej pułapu chmur i widoki są wtedy przepiękne. Jego lądowanie na wyspie również jest godne uwagi, bo robi to bardzo nisko nad wodą.

There are also humorous elements of my trip to Palawan. This may be distasteful to some, but it's funny to me. Many women wear poorer clothes. While on Hopping Island, I met a cheerful Slovak guy who spent the entire journey at sea dressed as Borat. He looked controversial, but everyone wanted to take a photo with him.

Są też elementy humorystyczne mojej wyprawy na Palawan. Dla niektórych może to być niesmaczne, ale dla mnie zabawne. Wiele kobiet nosi bardziej ubogie ubiory. Poznałem podczas Hopping Island pewnego wesołego Słowaka, który całą podróż po morzu odbył w stroju Borata. Wyglądał kontrowersyjnie, ale każdy chciał sobie zrobić z nim zdjęcie.

Even though the weather was good and the sun was shining all day, a condensation cloud was forming over one of the mountains in the sea, this happened almost every day. Judge the view for yourself.

Mimo iż pogoda była dobra, i cały dzień świeciło słońce, nad jedna z gór na morzu tworzyła się chmura kondensacyjna, powtarzało się to niemal codziennie. Widok sami oceńcie.

And finally, a few shots from El Nido. The coast is always full of different types of boats. Most of them are fishing boats, easily recognizable, for example by the lack of a roof. But there are also others, with a canopy - and these are already boats for transporting ATMs, i.e. rich tourists from all over the world.

I na koniec kiilka ujęć z El Nido. Wybrzeże zawsze pełne jest różnego typu łodzi. Większość z nich to łodzie rybackie, które łatwo rozpoznać, chociażby po braku zadaszenia. Ale zdarzają sie również inne, z baldachimem - i te już są łodziami do przewozu bankomatów, czyli bogatych turystów z calego świata.
