Open Mainet for PI Network - a big hit or a great failure?
The PI Network project, which started in 2019, is fast approaching to the end. Open Mainet is to be announced many times at the beginning of 2025. Will the project succeed and the PI value will close the mouths to the unbelievers, or maybe a few hours after the premiere will achieve its ATH for a moment, and then scrub at the bottom for years?
If we trace various sources on the web, the PI Network project has very diverse opinions. Starting from the claiming that they are a pyramid and scam, and only the creators earn on it by displaying millions of ads in the PI application, to claiming that the project is a new star on the sky of cryptocurrencies.
On the one hand, you need to be aware that determining the current value of PI Network is a divination from coffee grounds, because the capitalization of PI is 0 USD, and on the other hand, you need to realize the strength of the project that people are. As of today, the project brings together over 60 million people, including over 15 million verified after kyc, and 10 million wallets, with liquid PI, and the number of verified is growing very quickly.
This is mainly due to the so -called deadline, which is 180 days and will end on the last day of 2024. People who do not verify KYC by the end of the year, they will lose their wallets and Pi Network gathered in them. This is to be a kind of doping of course for the benefit of all users and the whole project, because the greater the verified number of users in the project, the stronger and more reliable the project becomes.
However, this quite drastic approach of the project creators and the establishment of Deadline for 180 days brings very positive results. The number of verified network users is growing very quickly. I can confirm this on my own example, because I am Validator and decide about who is passing or not undergoing KYC verification. For a week of activity I tested over 170 people, of which 150 got a pass to Open Mainnet. There are thousands like me, so you can imagine the scale of this undertaking.
What will the price of PI Network be after the debut on the stock exchange? On which stock exchange?
Here the forecasts are very divergent. The most pessimistic is that the PI value after entering the stock exchange will be only 0.4 USD, optimistic forecasts see the price of PI at USD 150, centered, which displays most sources is about USD 40. As it will be really - time will tell.
I think that the creators of the project will have a lot to choose from and each of the big stock exchanges will gladly hug a dozen or maybe tens of millions of new users after verifying personal data (KYC), I mean Binance.
