Narikala, kolejka linowa, starówka, most Pokoju - Tbilisi, ciekawe miejsca - moja podróż po Gruzji.

The bridge built over the Kura River was intended to be a bridge for pedestrian traffic only. This is what happened, but its construction was very controversial. Many architects had doubts whether this modern structure would fit into the deeply historically rooted atmosphere of Tbilisi.

Most wybudowany nad rzeką Kura z założenia miał być mostem tylko dla ruchu pieszego. Tak też się stało, ale jego budowa była bardzo kontrowersyjna. Wielu architektów miało wątpliwości, czy ta nowoczesna konstrukcja wpasuje się w mocno historycznie zakorzeniony klimat Tbilisi.

However, the futuristic facility made of steel and glass fits perfectly into the old architecture. It has become a landmark of Tbilisi, a place for walks and meetings for locals and tourists.

Jednak wykonany ze stali i szkła futurystyczny obiekt doskonale wkomponował się w starą architekturę. Stał się wizytówką Tbilisi, miejscem spacerów i spotkań miejscowych i turystów.

The bridge looks impressive from above, and you can get there by cable car for 2.5 lari, or about PLN 4. Additionally, the lighting of the bridge adds charm to it at night.

Most prezentuje się okazale z góry, na którą można wjechać kolejką linową za 2,5 lari, czyli około 4 zł. Dodatkowo oświetlenie mostu dodaje mu uroku nocą.

Unfortunately, not all modern structures blend well with old Tbilisi. Near the "Peace Bridge" there is another structure made of steel and glass. It's a concert hall that reminds me of a snail's horns. It doesn't look very inviting and there's probably not much going on there, because to put it mildly, the facility looks a bit neglected.

Niestety nie wszystkie nowoczesne konstrukcje dobrze komponują się ze starym Tbilisi. Nieopodal "Mostu Pokoju" jest kolejna konstrukcja, ze stali i szkła. To sala koncertowa, która mi przypomina rogi ślimaka. Nie wygląda zbyt zachęcająco i chyba nie wiele też tam się dzieje, bo obiekt delikatnie mówiąc wygląda na lekko zaniedbany.

From the viewing point to which we took the cable car, there is also a beautiful view of the old town and the sulfur baths. I am not a fan of this type of relaxation, so I did not take advantage of this pleasure. The price for an hour of stay in such a bath starts from USD 1. Of course, you can rent the entire room just for yourself and the cost ranges from USD 10-20.

Z punktu widokowego na który wjechaliśmy kolejką, rozpościera się również piękny i widok na stare miasto i na łaźnie siarkowe. Ja nie jestem zwolennikiem tego typu relaksu, więc nie skorzystałem z tej przyjemności. Cena za godzinę pobytu w takiej łaźni zaczyna się od 1USD. Można oczywiści wynająć całą salę tylko dla siebie i jest koszt od 10-20 USD.

The ancient castle on the hill, which can be reached by cable car or on foot, is called "Narikala". It was built on a hill above the Kura River. Nearby there is the church of St. Nicholas.

Starożytny zamek na wzgórzu, do którego można dostać się kolejką lub pieszo nosi nazwę "Narikala". Wybudowany został na wzgórzu nad rzeką Kura. Nieopodal mieści się kościół Św. Mikołaja.

There are plenty of stalls, fairs and souvenir stands around. From time to time there are some food outlets - as is typical in such places.

Wokół pełno jest straganów, kiermaszów i stoisk z pamiątkami. Od czasu do czasu jakieś punkty gastronomiczne - jak to w takich miejscach.

An interesting form of art is iron wood. It is located in Rike Park and its author is the sculptor Davit Monavarlisashvili. In this artistic creation, artists often come across various exotic animals, for example a big cat, probably a lynx, a peacock or a falcon - a bit of Cepelia, but what can you do.

Ciekawą formą sztuki jest żelazne drzewo. Znajduje się ono w Parku Rike, a autorem jest rzeźbiarz Davit Monavarlisashvili. Przy tym artystycznym tworze często spotykają się artyści z różnymi egzotycznymi zwierzętami, na przykład z wielkim kotem, chyba rysiem, pawiem czy sokołem - trochę Cepelia, no ale cóż zrobić.

And I would have forgotten. Walking through the streets of Tbilisi, we found a small factory where fresh khinkali was produced. We had no mercy for ourselves. We bought 12 pieces and prepared them ourselves in our guesthouse. They turned out brilliant. Cost - 1 khinkali for PLN 1.

A byłbym zapomniałe. Spacerując ulicami Tbilisi, namierzyliśmy małą manufakturę w której produkowano świeże chinkali. Nie mieliśmy litości dla siebie. Kupiliśmy 12 sztuk i przygotowaliśmy samodzielnie w naszym guesthousie. Wyszły genialnie. Koszt - 1 chinkali za 1 zł.
