Piątek rano ponury, ale potem słoneczny
For almost mid-December, it was pretty decent. So much so that, in addition to taking a walk, I was able to do some general tidying up on the balcony.
Jak na prawie połowę grudnia było całkiem przyzwoicie. Na tyle dobrze, że mogłem oprócz spaceru zrobić jeszcze generalne porządki na balkonie.
It's going to be a tough week, as the couple is dropping off their one-year-old granddaughter for six days. So I went to the pharmacy to pick up some earplugs, for myself, of course.
Zapowiada się ciężki tydzień, bo młodzi podrzucają nam roczą wnuczkę na 6 dni. Dlatego też udałem się do apteki po stopery do uszu, oczywiście dla siebie.
Even though there are still almost two weeks until Christmas, I feel a thick, feverish atmosphere in the air that I don't feel because I can't stand it.
Mimo iż do świąt jeszcze prawie dwa tygodnie, w powietrzu czuję gęstą gorączkową atmosferę, która mnie się nie udziela, bo jej nie znoszę.
The birds were out in force today, with sparrows and tits being the most numerous. Crows and jackdaws also made an appearance, but these were in the minority.
Ptaki wystąpiły dzisiaj w pełnym składzie, najwięcej oczywiście było wróbli i sikorek. Pojawiły się również wrony i kawki, ale te w mniejszości.
