Pierwszy śnieg tej jesieni, dalej jednak szaro i buro

This morning, the first snow of this autumn fell outside the window. It was very fine, and melted after literally an hour, but it is a fact worth noting. The rest of the day, as has been the case lately, was grey and drab.

Dzisiaj rano za oknem prószył pierwszy tej jesieni śnieg. Co prawda był bardzo drobny, i roztopił się dosłownie po godzinie, to jednak fakt trzeba odnotować. Reszta dnia, jak to ostatnimi czasami, szara i bura.

There were very few walkers in the park, because the weather effectively discouraged people from leaving their homes. In addition, the wind was blowing stronger and there was an unpleasant drizzle. With temperatures close to 0 degrees, few were brave enough to relax.

W parku bardzo mało spacerowiczów, bo jednak aura skutecznie zniechęca do wychodzenia z domu. Dodatkowo wiał mocniejszy wiatr i padała nieprzyjemna mżawka. Przy temperaturze bliskiej 0 stopni niewielu było odważnych na relax.

The birds were all fed, of course. Today they had an exclusive feast, because I ran out of walnuts, so I bought hazelnuts. What was going on there. 😀

Ptaszki oczywiście wszystkie nakarmione. Dzisiaj miały ekskluzywną ucztę, bo zabrakło mi orzechów włoskich, więc kupiłem orzechy laskowe. Co tam się działo. 😀

I visited the location of the fungus called Dead Fingers because I was curious if it had survived the summer and this fall. It turns out that it is doing quite well. The fungus looks firm and healthy. We'll see how it does after the first frost.

Odwiedziłem miejsce występowania grzyba o nazwie palce umarlaka, bo byłem ciekawy czy przetrwał lato i teraźniejszą jesień. Okazuje się, że ma się całkiem dobrze. Grzyb wygląda jędrnie i zdrowo. Zobaczymy jak się będzie miał po pierwszych przymrozkach.
