Paje - White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa - chyba najdroższy resort na Zanzibarze
Our 3-month stay in Zanzibar meant that we had an excess of free time. In fact, 2 weeks are enough to get to know Zanzibar and its attractions well. That's why we were looking for other interesting attractions on the island.
Nasz 3-miesięczny pobyt na Zanzibarze, spowodował, że mieliśmy nadmiar wolnego czasu. Tak naprawdę, aby poznać dobrze Zanzibar i jego atrakcje, wystarczą 2 tygodnie. Dlatego też szukaliśmy innych ciekawych atrakcji na wyspie.
We discovered another interesting and luxurious place thanks to the kindness of a young Pole, Damian. While on the island, you meet many compatriots who have put down roots in Zanzibar. Damian had been working on the island for 7-8 years, and he said that he didn't remember it anymore, because at some point it didn't matter, it was just about living.
Kolejne ciekawe i luksusowe miejsce poznaliśmy dzięki uprzejmości młodego Polaka Damiana. Będąc na wyspie spotyka się wielu rodaków, którzy zapuścili korzenie na Zanzibarze. Damian pracował na wyspie od 7-8 lat, jak to powiedział że sam już nie pamięta, bo w pewnym momencie się tego nie liczy tylko się żyje.
He is the manager of a luxury resort and works on the island of Zanzibar in Paje in a villa complex called White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa. This resort consists of several luxury villas, each with its own swimming pool and jacuzzi, multiple bedrooms and dining rooms in separate buildings.
Jest menadżerem luksusowego ośrodka i pracuje na wyspie Zanzibar w miejscowości Paje w kompleksie willowym o nazwie White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa. Resort ten składa się z kilku luksusowy willi, każda z własnym basenem i jakuzi, wieloma sypialniami i jadalnią w osobnych budynkach.
The facility is fenced and guarded by security guards and full monitoring. You cannot enter there, as they say, "straight from the street", unless you are a resident. Outsiders must have a confirmed invitation. We succeeded and explored this facility quite thoroughly.
Obiekt jest ogrodzony i strzeżony przez ochroniarzy oraz pełny monitoring. Nie można tam wejść jak to się mówi "prosto z ulicy", jeśli nie jest się mieszkańcem. Osoby z zewnątrz muszą mieć potwierdzone zaproszenie. Nam się udało, i zwiedziliśmy sobie ten obiekt dość dokładnie.
Accommodation here ranges from USD 700 to over USD 1,000 per night. Is it expensive? It is a specific place, full of atmosphere. Each villa is located at such a distance from each other that no one will disturb anyone else's peace. You feel as if you were alone, on a deserted island. The resort is full of greenery, flowers and exotic plants.
Noclegi w tym miejscu oscylują w granicach od 700 USD do ponad 1000 USD za dobę. Czy to drogo? To specyficzne miejsce, pełne klimatu. Każda willa oddalona jest od siebie na taką odległość, aby nikt nikomu nie zakłócał spokoju. Człowiek czuje się tam, jakby by la sam, na bezludnej wyspie. Ośrodek pełen jest zieleni, kwiatów i egzotycznych roślin.

The center strives to be self-sufficient. It has its own water, which is obtained from the sea and treated by special machines. I tried it - it is of excellent quality. It also has a small carpentry shop where all of the center's furniture was made, and roofing that was once made of straw and is now covered with wooden shingles.
Ośrodek stara się być samowystarczalny. Posiada własną wodę, która jest pozyskiwana z morza i uzdatniana przez specjalne maszyny. Próbowałem - jest doskonałej jakości. Posiada również małą stolarnię, w której wykonano wszystkie meble w ośrodku, oraz pokrycia dachowe, które kiedyś były słomiane, a teraz pokryte są drewnianym gontem.
You will also find beautiful gardens there, including utility ones. Most vegetables and fruits are grown there for the needs of the resort. The whole place is very well taken care of by a staff consisting only of locals. This is a salvation for this poor area, because it is not easy to find a job there.
Znajdziemy tam również piękne ogrody również użytkowe. Hoduje się tam bowiem większość warzyw i owoców na potrzeby resortu. Całość jest bardzo zadbana przez personel składający się tylko z miejscowych. Dla tego biednego obszaru to zbawienie, bo o pracę nie jest tam najłatwiej.
