Today was going to be a great day and it was, until I rubbed the tire on the stones, I literally tore it in a weakened place, and the inner tube went too. Basically a replacement kit. But hey, it wears out.

Dzisiejszy dzień zapowiadał się doskonale i taki był, do momentu kiedy nie potargałem opony na kamieniach, Dosłownie rozdarłem ją w osłabionym miejscu, a do tego poszła dętka. W zasadzie komplet do wymiany. No ale cóż, się jeździ to się zużywa.

A walk in the park at a slightly different time than I am used to was quite nice. Then a walk around the pond - and a pleasant surprise.

Spacer po parku o trochę innej porze niż to mam w zwyczaju był całkiem sympatyczny. Potem spacer wokół stawu - i miłe zaskoczenie.

I tracked with the camera a young group of grebes accompanied by an adult bird. I haven't seen them on our pond for a long time - this is a good sign. Unfortunately, I didn't have the right equipment with me, so the photo is only illustrative, but very characteristic - this bird cannot be confused with another.

Namierzyłem aparatem młodą grupkę perkozów w towarzystwie dorosłego ptaka. Dawno ich nie widziałem na naszym stawie - to dobry znak. Niestety nie miałem odpowiedniego sprzętu ze sobą, więc zdjęcie tylko poglądowe, ale bardzo charakterystyczne - tego ptaka nie można pomylić z innym.
