Lekka zima, mało słońca, ale wynik spacerowe w normie

Today, winter is in a slight retreat, in the afternoon the temperature was around 0 degrees and it was difficult to walk on wet snow and black ice, but it was doable.

Dzisiaj zima w lekkim odwrocie, po południu temperatura oscylowała w granicach 0 stopni i ciężko spacerowało się po mokrym śniegu i gołoledzi, ale się dało.

There is still quite a lot of snow in the park, the ice cover on the ponds is quite thick, it could support a guy weighing 100 kg, but this may change in the next few days.

Śniegu w parku jeszcze dość sporo, pokrywa lodu na stawikach dość gruba, utrzymała faceta o wadze 100 kg, ale to może się zmienić w ciągu najbliższych dni.

I visited the bird feeding site. Everyone showed up and even two nuthatches came to the meeting. Apparently the last three nights where the temperature dropped below 20 degrees had taken its toll on the birds, as they looked hungry. Even the jay consumed the nuts on site, which is not its habit.

Odwiedziłem miejsce karmienia ptaszków. Stawiły się wszystkie i nawet dwa kowaliki przybyły na spotkanie. Najwyraźniej ostatnie 3 noce gdzie temperatura spadała poniże 20 stopni dały się ptakom we znaki, bo wyglądały na wygłodniałe. Nawet sójka konsumowała orzechy na miejscu, co nie jest w jej zwyczaju.
