The first severe frost of this magnitude arrived tonight. The temperature unexpectedly dropped to -8 degrees Celsius at ground level, and when I went for a walk, it hovered around -4 degrees Celsius, which was noticeable.
Pierwszy tak silny mróz pojawił się dzisiaj w nocy. Niespodziewanie temperatura przy gruncie spadła do minus 8 stopni, a gdy wyszedłem na spacer utrzymywała się w granicach minus 4, co było odczuwalne.

The birds were fed, though there weren't many of them today. A few crows, sparrows, and one tit. The frost probably scared them a bit.
Ptaszki nakarmione, choć nie było ich dzisiaj zbyt wiele. Kilka wron wróbelków i jedna sikorka. Mróz chyba je trochę przestraszył.
