I visit Odessa quite often. I love walking. Now I will tell you about my standard route. And from the railway station and back.

Start of the walk

I go to Privoza. But I don’t go to the market. I walk past. I turn onto Mira Avenue. I go down to Grecheskaya Square. This is where the leisurely movement begins. I go out onto Deribasovskaya. I immediately go to the fountain in the City Garden.

There is always something to see here. In particular, the monument to Utesov, the Marazli lions, the Passage, the chair from “12 chairs” and so on. And the architecture is striking in its beauty. The Passage is especially impressive. The stucco molding and figurines of mythological creatures catch the eye.

I cross to Sobornaya Square. I immediately stop near the Assumption Cathedral. In the summer, you can relax by the beautiful fountain. Earlier I looked at the monument to Count Vorontsov, which looked along Deribasovskaya, towards the sea.

From Deribasovskaya to the Sea Port

From the City Garden I begin to move towards the sea. I go down to the Opera House. I go around it on the right. On the lower side there is a majestic fountain. I go further, past Dumskaya to Primorsky Boulevard. This is where Pushkin walked with Countess Vorontsova. The cannon continues to protect Odessa from the sea threat. I move straight to the Duke monument. It looks at the Potemkin Stairs, on the sides of which two new parks are spread out. I go down to the Sea Port.

There is something to see at the Sea Port. I will stand with the sailor's wife. I will wait with her and her child for the guy from a long voyage. I go down to the Church of St. Nicholas. I will stand at the very edge of the water. I will admire the movement of small fish and jellyfish. I go out on the other side, where the ships are usually moored.

Teschin Bridge and the end of the walk

After walking through the Greek and Istanbul parks, I go to the very edge of Primorsky Boulevard. Past the castle of Count Vorontsov and the colonnade, I go to Teschin Bridge. Recently, another attraction appeared here - a mural dedicated to Scriabin.

I go along Teschin Bridge towards the Shah's Palace. Nearby is the famous house with Atlantes. From this place I go to Ekaterininskaya Street. Gradually I move to Bunina. Along this street I go to Preobrazhenskaya. I stop at the monument to Vera Kholodnaya and finish the walk at Privoz and the railway station.
