There has been mixed emotions at the news that the UK has left the EU over the country. Scotland, who voted to stay, have held candle-lit vigils, while pro-Brexiteers partied in Londons parliament square. It has taken 3 years since the vote to leave, and 46 years o membership has come to an end. The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has let a message on social media, hoping it will united the country.
There will be many events to mark the occasion, such as the UK flag leaving the EU building in Brussels and a 50p coin coming into circulation to mark the event.
As for its impact on trade and the economy, we'll have to see what happens.
