Hello, I haven't posted anything here on Publish0x for a while. Still reading, tipping, but not doing much of the writing part; and I'd like to get back to it again.
Today I want to share my first experience of completing crypto quests on Rabbithole. This is the first time I attempted to complete the crypto quests on the platform, and it seemed fairly easy.
The newest quest was about "Exploring Celo Network".
Explore Celo by swapping, depositing, and providing liquidity on a variety of new and familiar web3 protocols. Celo is an evm-compatible, proof-of-stake protocol that allows applications to make transactions and run smart contracts in a secure and decentralized fashion. Celo’s mobile-first platform makes financial dApps and crypto payments accessible to anyone with a mobile phone.
If anyone is truly new about Rabbithole, this is a platform that provides a crypto learning platform with game like experiences. Users can complete quests/tasks to earn level and cryptocurrencies as rewards. Rumor says it will be some kind of airdrop to users, who have reached certain level in the future.
It requires BrightID, which provides private and identification as the as time.
Without further ado, let's dive into the Celo Quest.
There are 4 tasks in this quest for 3.7 CELOs and a NFT. I took a screenshot before I redeem my last pending completion. Notice there were 240+ participants, it is 325 right now as I wrote this blog.
So if you want to be one of the 5000 awardees, jump in quick.
Before diving into any of these tasks, make sure to have some Celo. Go to https://chainlist.org/ to add Celo Network into MetaMask wallet, and trade some in exchanges. I got mine from KuCoin. The transfer fee was 0.1 Celo.
The last task, task 4 was the easiest. If we ever swapped Celo in SushiSwap before, we can automatically get the completion.
If anyone hasn't done this before, I recommend to start with this task.
Swap some token we can use for other tasks. i.e. CUSD.
The first task was to deposit token to the daily/weekly lottery in PoolTogether.
The green color button in the screenshot above should be labeled as "Start" before completion. Click on Start button to navigate to PoolTogether.
Here we have two options: CEUR and CUSD. Like I mentioned in task 4. Swap CUSD there can give us a chance to complete two tasks in a row.
Depost 2 cUSD by clicking "Deposit CUSD" button, and type in amount of 2.
I tried with 1 cUSD. I don't know if it was because network congestion or minimum deposit. It failed twice on me until I changed the amount to 2.
Continue and authorize a couple time in MetaMask to complete.
Task 2 and 3 can be combined together. We need to swap tokens and create a liquidity pool on Ubeswap.
Swap anything you like. I chose UBE since we are on UbeSwap. Make sense to get their native utility token.
Click on "Pool" inside the top navigation bar to go to the LP creation page. Just like what we do in CubDeFi when we create the Cub-BNB or any other pairs. Create a new LP pair with the newly swap tokens.
The final step is to stake our newly created pair to the pool. Screenshot above shows the information of my UBE-CELO pool.
Since we have swap a token and stake a Liquidity Pool on UbeSwap, the last two tasks are completed.
Now we can "Redeem Quest", sit back and relax. The reward will be sent to us once the Remaining countdown reaches the end.
