Hi everyone, I have been on Publish0x for a few days now; was granted the permission to be an author/publisher a few days ago. I have been reading through other publishers' articles and learn about this platform before I want to write my introduction to the community.

My name is Xiang and I am in Colorado. Everyday waking up with the beautiful Pikes Peak. I am correctly an IT Program Manager at University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

I always say that my life has been full of surprises. Born in china; moved to New Jersey when I was in high school; joined US Armed Force after 9/11; Decided to stay in Colorado where I was stationed after two tours to Middle East; and now enjoy the scene of snowy mountain between October and May.

The first time I have heard stories about virtual currencies was the one programmer, who bought pizza with the Bitcoin. I laughed, but never had a thought to be part of it; until my search of a new, more secured web browser. That is when I started to use the Brave browser. Quickly I learned about Basic Attention Token (BAT), set up my uphold account, and registered as a Brave Creator. I didn't stop there, By the end of last year, I joined Steemit and Matters.news. Compare to Steemit, I really like the idea of sending both the author and the read tips. The STEEM ecosystem encourage big whales, who can easily destroy any newcomers; and vote bots remove human interactions. I am not saying Steemit is bad, Publish0x may have something I felt missing with other content creating systems.

My curious of block-chain and crypto markets has been growing since I start with the Brave browser. I believe that it will be the next "world recognized currency". I am excited to be part of this life-changing technology evolution.
