Aksara Nusantara ep.5 - Ka (aksara jawa)

ꦏ is a syllable in the Javanese script that represents the sound / kɔ /, / ka /. It is transliterated to Latin as "ka", and sometimes in Indonesian orthography as "ko".

In addition to the original meanings mentioned in the previous post, Javanese script has various interpretations of meanings. One well-known meaning is the meaning by ki Sarodjo published in the book Nawangsari written by Prof. Dr. Damardjati Supadjar who is a scientist, and professor at Gadjah Mada University and spiritual adviser of the Yogyakarta Sultanate Palace.

Here is the meaning of "ka"

Ka: Karsaningsun tumuju ing bawana - desire is directed towards the welfare of nature

Thus this post, hopefully useful, and see you in the next post that will try to respond to the form group of the syllable "ha na ca ra ka", which also has its own philosophical meaning as a syllable group.

Cheers!
